Forty Days and Forty Nights
From the Notes of DI Fleming, Based on the Notes of Lady Anika Borgstein (and other assorted sources):
Odin appears to have worked out an escape plan for Ragnarok, which involves him turning into Santa Clause. As such Lady Borgstein was working on a counter-plan whereby she would arm and empower several figures linked to the myth of Santa Clause so that they could beat the stuffing out of Odin if he tried to escape in this manner. This group has been named the ‘Bad Santas’ (by me. So what.)
Lady Borgstein also managed to gather some additional intel suggesting Odin is probably conspiring with the Shadowhand to start Ragnarok on the sly. He might even kick-start the damn thing early. See, he’s discovered that nuclear winter is quite a bit like Fimbluvetr, so hey! Let’s just get some sleeper agents to launch nukes and we’ll be golden!
So, it sounds like Odin has a line on one of our ballistic subs via the GLA and they’re planning to hit it when it heads into drydock. We’re just going to have to hit them first.
Oh, and it sounds like Odin might have recovered the Tarnhelm and therefore be commanding the leprechauns. Who have stolen Ireland’s gold reserve…
Looks like there is a definite threat to one of our Vanguard submarines. Further intel on this part of thwarting Odin’s plans to start a nuclear Fimbulveter can be found under the heading ‘ Operation Anarchy’
We found out what he’s done with the gold the leprechauns nicked: The Golden Plaque of the City of New Jerusalem had to come from somewhere and someone had to bury it underground from underneath…
